Day 1: Welcome to Baja California !

Upon arrival at Cabo San Lucas airport, you'll pick up your rental car from MEX and set off on an exciting journey towards Pulmo Cabo National Park. The drive takes you through stunning landscapes, transitioning from paved roads to rustic dirt paths that wind through canyon-like terrains. As you navigate these scenic routes, you'll be surrounded by towering rock formations and breathtaking desert vistas. Arriving at your first hotel, you'll have the perfect opportunity to unwind and marvel at the natural beauty of Baja California.

Early in the morning, embark on unforgettable small boat expeditions in La Ventana, departing from the central beach around 7-8 AM for a full-day adventure. Be sure to pack a picnic as you set out to ethically observe and, if their behavior permits, snorkel alongside magnificent marine creatures. Explore the vibrant waters and encounter majestic whales, playful dolphins, and graceful mobula rays. With a bit of luck, you might even spot elusive orcas in their natural habitat. Day 7: Espiritu Santos

Following by a stop over on a deserted beach to begin guided hikes through the island's rugged terrain, where you'll encounter unique flora and fauna and reach a stunning lake at the island's summit. Throughout the hike, bird watchers will delight in spotting the numerous bird species that inhabit the island. Later in the afternoon, enjoy kayaking through turquoise waters at sunset, if you are lucky maybe few dolphins will join you. End your day with another magical and refreshing outdoor shower, and spend your final night marveling at the shooting stars.

After breakfast, here we go again on our scenic 4-hour drive road to Todos Los Santos, arriving at the hotel around noon where relaxation takes on a serene and rejuvenating form

How fit do I need to be ?

This group - family - couple - corporate journey in Mexico is designed with children, parents, and grandparents in mind. You don’t need any special skills or training to participate in this tour.
Anyone can try snorkeling or surfing, and even take some kite surfing classes. Just note that you need to be over the age of 12 to participate.

* If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
* Minors older than 14 may be permitted to join the tour, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

What do I need to bring ?

• Don't overload yourself with clothes. Most of the time, you'll be dressed in bathing clothes, sarongs and light dresses for the ladies, and short T-shirts for the men.
• Essential snorkeling equipment: FINS, MASK & TUBA
• Go Pro camera or other device capable of filming/photographing underwater.
• Yoga mat and appropriate clothing.
• Good sun cream with SPF 30+ or even 50+ depending on your skin type. You'll be very exposed to the sun, and sunburns are “unforgiving” on the sea!
• You'll also need sunglasses, a hat and a scarf to protect your eyes and head.
• Don't forget to take plenty of your usual medication and any other products you may need (charcoal or other). If you're sensitive to allergies, you'll need to bring along some medication (Zyrtec) and creams (sometimes the approach of fire corals and plankton can provoke allergies).
• A few water-resistant plasters may come in handy...
• Hearing protection (earplugs) may be useful... Likewise, sensitive persons should remember to bring earplugs for swimming.
• Headlamp or other flashlight for early-morning travel.
• Beach towels for the week (outside/Quechua type)
• Good book, etc.

Can you guarantee I will see wildlife ?

Generally, Baja California is a dream destination for marine wildlife enthusiasts with abundant families of dolphins, whales, sea lions and mobula rays. But you will also experience on land a huge diversity in birds watching.

Going on ethical encounters with experienced guides can ensure a well-planned experience. The more days you spend in the wilderness, the better are your chances of spotting diverse animals.

Safety mesures in the country ?

Belgians must have an international passport valid until the date of return.
A tourist visa (equivalent to a visa) will be given to you on board the plane on the outward journey.
This is included in the price and must be returned on the return flight.

Important change to customs forms: before leaving for Mexico, you must fill in the 'Declaration of goods' form in advance, print it out and take it with you. This form is no longer distributed on the flight.

You must also complete the 'Declaration of money' form in advance (up to 24 hours before the flight) if you are taking more than 10,000 USD. This document must be completed for travel to and from Mexico.

Deposits and cancellation policy ?

Deposits
You can secure your travel with a 30% deposit upon booking. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations
To secure your spot on one of our exclusive journeys, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of booking. After this 48-hour period, the deposit becomes non-refundable but can be transferred to another trip or date of your choice, subject to availability.

Once the full balance for the trip has been paid, it becomes non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel at least 60 days before the departure date, you can transfer the amount to another trip or date of your choice, subject to availability. If the new trip is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference. If the new trip is less expensive, please note that the difference will not be refunded.
